Weight Training Posters | Sculpting Made Simple
86Jack LaLanne was the godfather of fitness. He was our guide to eating right and working out. In all the years of his life, Jack was a walking/breathing poster - he walked his talk and motivated us for decades. What was wonderful about LaLanne was his dedication to fitness. Additionally, he never missed an opportunity to share some fitness facts and words of encouragement. Sadly, LaLanne is no longer with us but he left a tremendous legacy to all of us. And with that legacy is a plethora of different fitness programs. And within these programs, there is a bountiful supply of great exercise posters.
Exercise posters serve to promote fitness, start a dialogue with your personal trainer, encourage you to hire a personal trainer and most of all motivate you to stick with your fitness program.
Exercise posters educate us on proper form for target toning. Remember proper form is not just about great results, it is also about preventing injuries.
Health clubs should have an inventory to rotate exercise posters and the posters should cover a variety of different fitness programs.
Exercise posters include visual guides for:
- Calories Burned
- Exercise Do's and Don't s
- Strength Training Visual Guide
- Balance Ball Visual Guide
- Resistance Band Exercise Posters
- Dumb Bell Exercise Visual Guide
- Multi Bench Exercise Visual Guide
- Medicine Ball Visual Guide
- Pilates Reformer
My personal favorites are the exercise do's and don'ts and the medicine ball visual guides. I believe the Dos and Don'ts showcases the need for a Personal Trainer and starts a dialogue within the health club. The medicine ball I feel is an underutilized fitness tool that people can readily feel results.
As you can see there are a number of great visual guides available - sufficient quantity for a top notch fitness club to actively rotate these posters throughout their facility.
Important note, as a marketing professional, don't forget the value of cross-promoting land fitness and swim fitness. Encouraging clients to mix up their fitness program and try different activities is what keeps us active and healthy. Do place a land weight training poster in your swimming pool, do place a swim fitness poster in your weight room. The cross promotion is key to any marketing program but is especially key in fitness. Encourage your clients to try something new.

Men and Women Love Weights - Target Toning
Men and women alike now understand how weights affect their fitness goals. Target toning is an essential program because people feel and see results. The olden days, it was considered luxurious to be pale white and with no muscles. Life has changed and our knowledge of our health has changed. We now understand the importance of the muscles and have learned that we actually loose muscle as we age. It is not just fighting this aging process, it is also a fight for our health. Greater muscle tone will give us more strength and energy and it will change our metabolism.
Toning the muscles in our human body is important and posters that serve to educate and motivate are important items that must be in every health club (and rotated on a regular basis) and in every home gym. OK, if your gym is your bedroom or family, invest in a couple of smaller posters and place them inside of cabinets that you open frequently. That way, it is not out of site out of mind, you see those pieces of valuable information and it will serve as an important visual reminder to diligently stick to your fitness routine.
Remember, fitness includes equal portions of: 1.) target toning 2.) cardiovascular exercise 3.) flexibility (stretching) 4.) diet and 5.) consistency. All five areas come together beautifully when we actively remind ourselves of all of the benefits.

Every health club should have a series of dumb bell posters to display and to rotate. There are some great educational pieces. These posters serve not just to motivate the clients seeking to take their fitness program to the next level but also serve to open a dialogue with the personal trainers.
Personal trainers are one o life best investments and yet often overlooked and under promoted. The only thing I would change with all of these posters is to state at the bottom, please see your personal trainer for more information.
Proper body alignment when weight lifting or for any fitness program including aerobics is critical. It is critical not just for the sake of results but also for preventing injuries.
One of my mantras is the class that I teach is NOT my workout. My fitness clients see me either before or after class working out - they know my first duty is to them. My classes are not "buddy" classes - they are exercise classes that achieve certain fitness goals. In addition to target toning and achieving a great cardiovascular workout, I always try to add facts to motivate. I believe if we all understand the complexity of the human body a little bit more we will all have a greater appreciation for the most important assets we have - the human body that allows us to move, think, breath and feel.

The paradigm of health and fitness has changed over the centuries. In the olden days, the days of my Grandmother, sun tans and muscle were unladylike. Thanks to scientific research we now know the effects of the sun can provide vitamin in limited portions and that tone muscles are not just sexy but healthy too.
The human body has 640 muscles. The longest and largest muscles reside in our legs. The legs are our key to mobility - just learning to target tone the legs - the quadriceps, the hamstrings the hip flexors CAN change our health, our vitality, our energy and our metabolism. We are wiser than our Grandmothers and we can prove it by living longer and healthier lives. Target toning posters help educated and motivate us to to the next fitness level.
This is such a good, comprehensive hub. Great posters you've found, too.
It is very useful hub where all types of exercise have noted with beautiful picture. The right one might be chosen for the right person. After all health is wealth.
Thanks for the guides, Nice hub.
